Privacy Policy
How we handle your personal data in accordance with Brazil's LGPD (Law No. 13,709/2018).
EngCompSolutions — IT Solutions, Services and Consulting Ltd. values the privacy of data subjects. This policy describes which personal data we collect, for what purpose, for how long, and what the data subject's rights are.
1. Who we are (controller)
EngCompSolutions, a private legal entity, registered under CNPJ No. 08.326.960/0001-58, headquartered at Rua João Moreira, 304 Sala 1, Centro, Formosa-GO, ZIP 73550-630, Brazil. For matters related to personal data, write to contato@engcompsolutions.com.br.
2. Data we collect
- Contact data provided voluntarily by the data subject in our contact form (name, e-mail, phone, city/state, message).
- Browsing data collected automatically by the HTTP server (IP address, date/time, user-agent, page accessed), for security and service improvement purposes.
- Browser preferences stored locally (localStorage) to remember your theme choice (light/dark).
3. Purposes of use
- To respond to inquiries, quotes and proposal requests.
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to requests from authorities.
- To maintain the security of the site and prevent fraud and abuse.
4. Legal bases
We process data based on the performance of a contract and preliminary procedures (art. 7, V of the LGPD) and on legitimate interest for information security (art. 7, IX). For marketing communications, we will request specific consent (art. 7, I).
5. Sharing
We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Any service providers (e.g. a transactional e-mail provider) may process data strictly to fulfill the contracted purpose, under a confidentiality agreement.
6. Cookies
This site does not use advertising tracking cookies. We only use the browser's localStorage to remember the light/dark theme preference. This storage is local, is not transmitted to third parties, and can be deleted at any time in your browser settings.
7. Data subject rights
In accordance with art. 18 of the LGPD, the data subject may request, at any time: confirmation of the existence of processing, access, correction, anonymization, portability, deletion of data, revocation of consent, and information about public and private entities with which data has been shared. To exercise these rights, send a request to the controller's e-mail indicated in item 1.
8. Retention
Contact data is kept for the period necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected and, thereafter, for the legal retention period (5 years for tax documents; 10 years for labor records, where applicable).
9. Security
We adopt reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration or improper disclosure. Even so, no system is 100% secure — in the event of an incident, we will notify the data subjects and the ANPD as required by law.

This policy may be revised periodically. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
